9 November 2015 Mary Digiglio short-listed as a finalist in this year's Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards

We are proud to announce that Swaab Attorneys Managing Partner Mary Digiglio, has been short-listed as a finalist in this year's Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards in the Executive of the Year category.

This recognises Mary's stewardship of our firm that is producing double digit growth and seeing the firm welcome a number of new clients from the SME, startup, government and high net worth sectors.

Mary's tenure comes at a time of profound change due to the disruptive forces affecting our clients and our profession. In response, she commissioned the Swaab Disruption initiative to ensure Swaab Attorneys can anticipate and respond to the challenges facing our clients and help them embrace these changes and secure their future.

This recognition highlights Mary's deep commitment to Swaab's people. She leads a diverse team with over 39% female representation at the partner and senior manager levels and over 30% of our people born overseas. Mary is committed to embedding a culture focused on the well-being of our people, particularly since taking on a role as Director of the Tristan Jepson Memorial Foundation.

Mary has also continued the firm's commitment to part-time and flexible work across all levels of the firm, and established a tone that is constructive, supportive, respectful and kind.

Underpinning the success of these initiatives has been Swaab's 'Unlock your Potential' program, which earned us a finalist slot in this year's Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards.

We look forward to celebrating Mary's success at the finals later this month.
