Swaab Attorneys boosts practice teams with three new appointments

Swaab Attorneys continues its program of expansion with the appointment of three new lawyers.

Employment law specialist Warwick Ryan has joined the employment and workplace relations team as a partner.  

Warwick brings two decades of experience in employment law. He has advised both employers and employees on a broad spectrum of matters, including termination and restraint of trade disputes and OH&S prosecutions. Prior to joining Swaab, Warwick built up his own successful employment law consultancy. 

"We are very happy that Warwick has joined our firm", said managing partner Fred Swaab. "Warwick's vast experience in employment law and his strong track record as a negotiator with insurers and trade unions represent a welcome expansion of our employment law capabilities." 

In a separate hire, senior associate Marcus Connor has been engaged to work with clients in the areas of corporate, commercial and intellectual property law. Marcus has a special interest in the health industry and he assists a number of clients in this sector with regulatory and commercial matters. 

Another addition to the employment team is solicitor Brendan Taylor, who has experience advising numerous clients on employment law matters, including obligations under the Fair Work Act, superannuation legislation and workers compensation legislation.
