We are on the look­out for a tal­ent­ed and ambi­tious cor­po­rate lawyer with 3 – 6 years PQE to join our Cor­po­rate and Com­mer­cial team.

About the role

We cur­rent­ly have an oppor­tu­ni­ty for a tal­ent­ed and ambi­tious cor­po­rate lawyer with 3 – 6 years PQE to join our Cor­po­rate and Com­mer­cial team. Being part of a small team, this role pro­vides good expo­sure to clients and involve­ment in a broad vari­ety of cor­po­rate and trans­ac­tion­al work.

In this role you will be involved in all areas of cor­po­rate trans­ac­tion­al work, includ­ing acqui­si­tions and dis­pos­als, invest­ments, loan and secu­ri­ty, restruc­tur­ing and cor­po­rate advi­so­ry work. In terms of client base, this role has a good mix, and will see you advis­ing Aus­tralian and inter­na­tion­al clients, includ­ing both pri­vate and pub­lic com­pa­nies, on a range of mat­ters for a num­ber of indus­try sec­tors. Being part of the wider Cor­po­rate and Com­mer­cial team, you will have expo­sure to com­mer­cial mat­ters as well.

The ide­al can­di­date will be an expe­ri­enced cor­po­rate trans­ac­tions lawyer who has been involved in a broad range of cor­po­rate mat­ters. You will have strong com­mer­cial acu­men, be a strong com­mu­ni­ca­tor, pos­sess excel­lent tech­ni­cal abil­i­ties and appre­ci­ate the impor­tance of atten­tion to detail, plan­ning your time effec­tive­ly and meet­ing deadlines.

This is a great oppor­tu­ni­ty for an enthu­si­as­tic cor­po­rate lawyer who takes ini­tia­tive and has the apti­tude and desire to devel­op a practice.
