We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paralegal or Junior Lawyer to work directly with one of our Partners in our busy Property, Planning & Projects (PPP) team. The role is responsible for assisting the Partner with:

  • all aspects of strata law including disputes between lot owners, owners corporations and/or third parties, litigated matters, preparation of by-laws and strata renewal proceedings

  • property matters including preparation of call option deeds and contracts.

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this position, you will possess at least 3 years prior experience in a similar paralegal role or have had some experience as a junior lawyer in this area. You will be technically competent in the area of property and construction law and ideally have experience in strata law. It is important that you are a strong communicator and pride yourself in your high attention to detail.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to plan your time efficiently to meet deadlines and be able to work effectively and productively. An intermediate level of MS Office applications is essential and experience with use of affinity practice management system and File Site Document Management would be highly regarded but not essential as full training will be given.

This role is full time, but we would be able to make it work if the right candidate wanted to work a shorter day. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic paralegal or junior lawyer who has the drive and capability to really own this role.
