About the role

We cur­rent­ly have an oppor­tu­ni­ty for a tal­ent­ed and ambi­tious lit­i­ga­tion lawyer 3 – 8 years PQE to work in our well-regard­ed lit­i­ga­tion team. Part of a dynam­ic, fast-mov­ing and ser­vice focused prac­tice group, this role pro­vides reg­u­lar client con­tact and involve­ment in all aspects of a broad com­mer­cial lit­i­ga­tion and insol­ven­cy practice. 

The role will pro­vide expo­sure to a diverse range of clients and mat­ters includ­ing cor­po­rate and per­son­al insol­ven­cy; debt recov­ery; con­trac­tu­al dis­putes; direc­tor’s civ­il lia­bil­i­ty; part­ner­ship dis­putes; com­pe­ti­tion and con­sumer law; prop­er­ty; trusts and neg­li­gence in the Supreme Court, Dis­trict Court, fed­er­al courts and var­i­ous tribunals.

Skills & Experience

To be con­sid­ered for this posi­tion, can­di­dates should pos­sess pri­or expe­ri­ence in gen­er­al com­mer­cial lit­i­ga­tion, insol­ven­cy and dis­pute res­o­lu­tion mat­ters. Along with a pas­sion for build­ing strong client rela­tion­ships with expo­sure to busi­ness devel­op­ment and a desire to build their own prac­tice and advance their career.

You will be com­mer­cial­ly savvy, a strong com­mu­ni­ca­tor, pos­sess excel­lent tech­ni­cal abil­i­ties and appre­ci­ate the impor­tance of atten­tion to detail, plan­ning your time effec­tive­ly and meet­ing deadlines.

This is a great oppor­tu­ni­ty for an enthu­si­as­tic com­mer­cial lit­i­ga­tion lawyer who has the apti­tude and desire to devel­op a practice.
