Swaab Attor­neys part­ner Alis­tair Jaque advised Applied Fil­ters Pty Ltd (Applied Fil­ters) on the man­age­ment buy­out of its Aus­tralian busi­ness. Applied Fil­ters, which is based in Mel­bourne and has been in oper­a­tion for more than 40 years, designs and cus­tom man­u­fac­tures fil­ters for a range of indus­tries includ­ing min­ing and health. The trans­ac­tion also involved the sale of the indus­tri­al prop­er­ty from which Applied Fil­ters oper­ates by Applied Fil­ters’ UK par­ent com­pa­ny, Ariel Indus­tries plc. Swaab part­ner Mary Digiglio act­ed for Ariel Indus­tries on the sale of the property.
