Swaab Attor­neys appoints new Prop­er­ty, Plan­ning and Projects partner

Swaab Attor­neys is pleased to announce the appoint­ment of Emma Flem­ing as a part­ner in the Prop­er­ty, Plan­ning and Projects team.

Emma joins Swaab from E J Flem­ing Legal where she was the founder and Prin­ci­pal. Emma brings with her over 9 years of expe­ri­ence in the prop­er­ty space includ­ing many sig­nif­i­cant envi­ron­ment and plan­ning lit­i­ga­tion cases.

Emma’s expe­ri­ence includes pro­vid­ing advice to devel­op­er clients at all stages of the project life-cycle (includ­ing devel­op­ment and project appli­ca­tions, envi­ron­men­tal assess­ment, devel­op­er and plan­ning agree­ments and approvals) to which she applies a con­sid­ered and com­mer­cial­ly-aware approach in tack­ling envi­ron­ment and plan­ning issues.

Emma’s com­mence­ment with Swaab sig­ni­fies a renewed vision and growth for the firm in the Prop­er­ty space, hav­ing fol­lowed the pro­mo­tion of Cecil­ia Rose to part­ner and Col­in McFadzean to Spe­cial Coun­sel in Decem­ber 2016.
