About the role

We cur­rent­ly have an excit­ing oppor­tu­ni­ty for a moti­vat­ed and proac­tive Legal Sec­re­tary to pro­vide sup­port to our Prop­er­ty team. Due to growth in the team we are look­ing for an addi­tion­al sec­re­tary who is expe­ri­enced, enthu­si­as­tic and client focused to under­pin the work deliv­ered by the group. This role will see you pro­vid­ing much val­ued sup­port in the fol­low­ing ways

  • Assist­ing with end to end con­veyanc­ing and leas­ing file management
  • Prepa­ra­tion for settlements
  • Prop­er­ty searches
  • Prepar­ing, for­mat­ting and edit­ing doc­u­ments includ­ing deeds, leas­es, agree­ments and contracts
  • Man­age­ment of var­i­ous correspondence
  • Liais­ing with inter­nal and exter­nal clients
  • Con­duct­ing searches
  • Diary man­age­ment
  • Billing
  • Fil­ing, both paper and electronically
  • Open­ing and clos­ing of files
  • Gen­er­al admin/​secretarial duties

Skills & Experience

Ide­al­ly you are a strong admin­is­tra­tor with expe­ri­ence in both con­veyanc­ing and leas­ing. The fol­low­ing describes your strengths and attributes:

  • Con­veyanc­ing experience 

  • Pro­fi­cient in PEXA
  • Abil­i­ty to under­stand finance and mort­gages documentation 
  • Pro­bate experience 
  • Pos­i­tive, proac­tive and moti­vat­ed nature
  • Pride in ser­vice deliv­ery with a can do attitude
  • Abil­i­ty to man­age mul­ti­ple pri­or­i­ties and meet dead­lines whilst being calm under pressure
  • Excel­lent atten­tion to detail
  • Con­fi­dence and good judge­ment liais­ing with clients
  • Adapt­abil­i­ty and flex­i­bil­i­ty to work 
  • MS office suite expe­ri­ence at an inter­me­di­ate level

Expe­ri­ence in Affin­i­ty and iMan­age Doc­u­ment Man­age­ment would be high­ly regard­ed but not essential.
