About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive Legal Secretary to provide support to our Property team. Due to growth in the team we are looking for an additional secretary who is experienced, enthusiastic and client focused to underpin the work delivered by the group. This role will see you providing much valued support in the following ways
- Assisting with end to end conveyancing and leasing file management
- Preparation for settlements
- Property searches
- Preparing, formatting and editing documents including deeds, leases, agreements and contracts
- Management of various correspondence
- Liaising with internal and external clients
- Conducting searches
- Diary management
- Billing
- Filing, both paper and electronically
- Opening and closing of files
- General admin/secretarial duties
Skills & Experience
Ideally you are a strong administrator with experience in both conveyancing and leasing. The following describes your strengths and attributes:
Conveyancing experience
- Proficient in PEXA
- Ability to understand finance and mortgages documentation
- Positive, proactive and motivated nature
- Pride in service delivery with a can do attitude
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines whilst being calm under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence and good judgement liaising with clients
- Adaptability and flexibility to work
- MS office suite experience at an intermediate level
Experience in Affinity and iManage Document Management would be highly regarded but not essential.
