A mes­sage from our Man­ag­ing Part­ner, Mary Digiglio on what lies ahead for the year to come.

2014 was a busy year, dur­ing which we imple­ment­ed struc­tur­al change, pro­mot­ed a num­ber of our own peo­ple and secured some new part­ners to join us.

In 2015 we are look­ing for­ward to more pro­mo­tions, fur­ther strate­gic growth to bol­ster and com­ple­ment our exist­ing prac­tice areas and a focus on using tech­nol­o­gy to inno­vate our process­es and prac­tices to ensure we real­ly are deliv­er­ing our Swaab Brand of Service’.

The Swaab Brand of Ser­vice includes pro­vid­ing clients ser­vice with­out delay, com­mu­ni­cat­ing clear­ly with our clients, respond­ing to client feed­back, under­stand­ing our clients’ busi­ness­es and needs and always being accu­rate and clear.

To kick off our 2015 activ­i­ty, as not­ed in our recent news sec­tion, Marc Bad­dams has been pro­mot­ed to part­ner in the lit­i­ga­tion team. Marc has been with Swaab for over 6 years start­ing as an Asso­ciate in 2008. Marc spe­cialis­es in com­mer­cial lit­i­ga­tion and dis­pute res­o­lu­tion and has expe­ri­ence in fed­er­al and state courts, tri­bunals and alter­na­tive dis­pute res­o­lu­tion process­es includ­ing medi­a­tion. Marc’s clients include Aus­tralian and over­seas cor­po­ra­tions, small to medi­um enter­pris­es and individuals.

We will also con­tin­ue our inte­gral involve­ment with Mer­i­tas, a pres­ti­gious glob­al legal net­work. As a mem­ber of Mer­i­tas and as a leader in the ANZ region, we are able to sup­port our clients’ cross bor­der inter­ests by pro­vid­ing them with access to some of the world’s best law firms.

We wish you all great suc­cess in 2015 and we look for­ward to shar­ing more excit­ing announce­ments in the future!
