Swaab is pleased to announce the pro­mo­tion of Eliz­a­beth Debono from the Fir­m’s lit­i­ga­tion team to the role of Senior Asso­ciate. Eliz­a­beth joined Swaab straight from school as a fil­ing clerk in 2005 and her excel­lent legal skills and client ser­vice has seen her steadi­ly rise through the ranks ever since. In addi­tion to her out­stand­ing work at Swaab, Eliz­a­beth is Swaab’s Young Lawyer Liai­son for the glob­al legal net­work of Mer­i­tas and is the CLE Coor­di­na­tor of the NSW Young Lawyers Civ­il Lit­i­ga­tion Committee.

Swaab Man­ag­ing Part­ner, Mary Digiglio, recog­nis­es Eliz­a­beth’s achieve­ment Eliz­a­beth’s sto­ry makes the Firm very proud. She has been with the Firm for ten years, start­ing with us as a school leaver and study­ing law whilst work­ing. Dur­ing this time Eliz­a­beth has devel­oped a sol­id skill set and a fine rep­u­ta­tion for qual­i­ty lit­i­ga­tion work and client ser­vice. Eliz­a­beth’s exper­tise is often called upon by oth­er groups in the Firm. She is a valu­able mem­ber of the lit­i­ga­tion team and this appoint­ment is a well-deserved advance­ment in her career. The part­ner­ship con­grat­u­late Eliz­a­beth on her achievement.”
