The Inau­gur­al Fred Swaab Hon­orary Address

We were hon­oured to host the Inau­gur­al Fred Swaab Hon­orary Address on 23 Octo­ber 2018 and to have the Hon. P A Bergin SC, deliv­er the key note speech. 

The evening was a chance to bring togeth­er fam­i­ly, friends, col­leagues and clients of Swaab to remem­ber and acknowl­edge Fred’s achievements. 

It was also an oppor­tu­ni­ty to announce the win­ner of the Inau­gur­al Fred Swaab Award that recog­nis­es an indi­vid­ual who has inspired oth­ers through imag­i­na­tion, entre­pre­neur­ship, inno­va­tion and gen­eros­i­ty of spirit. 

As the Hon. P A Bergin SC shared:

“The unan­i­mous ver­dict is that Fred was an extra­or­di­nary man of inspi­ra­tion for oth­ers and with a pro­fes­sion­al dri­ve and appetite for work that was appar­ent­ly insatiable.”

Fred under­stood that the legal sys­tem expect­ed the deliv­ery of hon­est, care­ful and pro­fes­sion­al advice in all aspects of the Firm’s services.”
