I have over 30 years of experience in advising and assisting SMEs and listed clients in a number of industries including mining and resources, construction, property, leisure, transport, retail, media, telecommunications and insurance.
Experience includes acting for:
- Advising an Asia-Pacific professional services group, on its restructuring of an Australian IP firm from a patent attorney and law firm partnership into a corporate group, its debt facility with ANZ, and its IPO and ASX listing
- Advising a property investment company on its $40 million sale of a significant Cairns-based resort to an Australian real estate and hospitality investor.
- Advising a company in the print solutions industry, on its $16.5 million acquisition of a group of companies in the sector including advising on funding documents and financial assistance.
- Advising a company in the health products industry on its $5.6 million acquisition of a number of businesses from external administrators
- Advising a vocational education and training provider on the aggregation of other vocational education and training providers and IPO and ASX listing
- Advising on the sale of a privately owned telecommunications provider to a listed telecommunications provider for in excess of $100 million
- Advising on the acquisition of a large storage company by a listed fund and subsequent acquisitions of further storage facilities
- Advising on various joint ventures with a listed fund with respect to commercial properties and shopping centres together with development and property management agreements
- Advising on a 10-year contract to provide fleet marine services to the Department of Defence.
