I have act­ed for own­ers cor­po­ra­tions, devel­op­ers, builders and own­ers in all man­ner of stra­ta and con­struc­tion mat­ters, including:

• Act­ing for own­ers cor­po­ra­tions and own­ers in all man­ner of stra­ta dis­putes aris­ing under the Stra­ta Schemes Man­age­ment Act 2015.
• Act­ing for own­ers cor­po­ra­tions and own­ers in draft­ing by-laws, motions for gen­er­al meet­ings, rel­e­vant forms, con­sol­i­da­tion of by-laws, review of by-laws, and advice as to tech­ni­cal com­pli­ance with the Stra­ta Schemes Man­age­ment Act 2015.
• Act­ing in rela­tion to build­ing defects claims aris­ing under the Home Build­ing Act 1989 in the NSW Civ­il and Admin­is­tra­tive Tri­bunal and Supreme Court of NSW.
• Act­ing for own­ers cor­po­ra­tions, own­ers, and devel­op­ers in stra­ta renew­al mat­ters under Part 10 of Stra­ta Schemes Devel­op­ment Act 2015.
• Prepar­ing ease­ments and access deeds.
• Act­ing in rela­tion to tree dis­putes, divid­ing fences dis­putes and bound­ary disputes.
• Pre­vi­ous­ly act­ed for the devel­op­er in Supreme Court lit­i­ga­tion con­cern­ing Opal Tow­er. Defend­ed against and pros­e­cut­ing mul­ti­ple cross claims extend­ing up and down the entire length of the sup­ply chain and across a series of sep­a­rate proceedings.
• Pre­vi­ous­ly act­ed in a in a dis­pute con­cern­ing a defec­tive waste to ener­gy treat­ment facil­i­ty locat­ed in Der­byshire in the Unit­ed King­dom. Direct­ed the dis­clo­sure exer­cise, from start to fin­ish and in com­pli­ance with Prac­tice Direc­tion 57AD which was intro­duced whilst the pro­ceed­ings were on foot. The case was one of the high­est val­ue claims in the TCC list at the time which set­tled for approx. £94 million.
