Chambers and Partners, the world’s leading legal rankings company and definitive guide to leading professional services providers in key markets worldwide, has named Meritas an Elite Global Legal Network, its top ranking

Chambers’ in-depth research teams assess lawyers and law firms across more than 200 jurisdictions around the world, providing independent and impartial intelligence and market insight. Its research methodology is unrivaled in accuracy, depth, and quality, delivering indispensable data insights based on rankings that truly reflect ability and talent.

This annual recognition is a testament to the 183 Meritas member firms and their lawyers, who provide unmatched responsiveness and dedication to every Meritas client,” said Sona Pancholy, Meritas president. Chambers’ robust evaluation methodology closely aligns with our own self-reporting quality measurements that track our high consistency of client service and satisfaction across the world.”

Chambers rankings are the definitive mark of excellence across the legal industry and a go-to resource for in-house counsel when choosing law firms,” said Brett Krantz, chair of the Meritas board of directors, and a lawyer from KJK in Cleveland, Ohio. Congratulations to all Meritas members.”

Swaab Managing Partner, Mary Digiglio said,“Being part of the Meritas global network of independent law firms since 2009 has proven to be an important part of our firm’s value proposition. The network continues to provide our clients with immediate access to award-winning, trusted legal advisors, internationally and across Australia.”

The Chambers rating system for the global legal network guide consists of banded rankings for organizations and lawyers – Band 1 is the highest of 6 bands. Rankings are based on survey findings and significant achievements, with an aggregate rating band assigned by Chambers to those recognized as worthy of inclusion in the guide. The qualities on which rankings are assessed include client service, technical legal ability, professional conduct, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment, and other qualities most valued by clients.
